Disney XD

Disney XD – a US-based multinational pay television service owned by Walt Disney Television directed mainly to children aged 6-15 with a wide variety of shows, original first-run television series, TV films, theatrical releases and other acquired programming including Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon and Beyblade Burst.

Disney XD offer includes mostly animated and live-action programs aimed at pre-teens and young teenagers. It consists of a mixture of original series as well as programs inherited from sister network Disney Channel. Disney XD programming blocks include the following:

  • Anime Block – a block presenting numerous anime programs featured on the channel, such as Pokémon, and Beyblade: Burst. It airs every Saturday.
  • Marvel on Disney XD – a block of animated series produced by Marvel Animation that airs Sunday mornings. It also features 5 short series using short-form animated and live-action shows. Programs currently featured in the block are Spider-Man (2017)Avengers AssembleGuardians of the Galaxy,"Marvel Mash-Up" (which features classic Marvel cartoons mashed up with new twists), and "Fury Files".

The service also has Disney XD HD – a high definition simulcast of the Disney HD, Disney HD On Demand which is a VoD service with selected episodes of Disney HD’s original and acquired shows and Disney NOW – the Disney Channel app which combines the apps of Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD and Radio Disney into one universal app.

The Spanish, German, Italian and French versions were closed after the launch of Disney+. Disney XD was also closed down in Australia and New Zealand. Although Disney HD is available in many other places around the world, its original service can only be watched within the US territory which makes it virtually inaccessible in many places. Unless you have Getflix Smart DNS, that it.

How to watch Disney XD outside US

If you want to get rid of the geo-block which effectively prevents you from watching Disney XD from outside US, you have to sign up with Getflix, configure your device or devices, update your IP in our system and start streaming. If you need any help with the setup process, refer to our support guides or contact us for help.

Smart DNS is a solution which enables you to access geo-restricted services which are normally blocked outside their operating areas. Those blocks are based on detecting your IP and blocking the access to the content. What Smart DNS does is redirecting part of your Internet traffic through dedicated servers and (without changing your original IP) opening access to the channels which are otherwise unavailable to you.

Watch Disney XD with Getflix Smart VPN.

There are a lot of geo-restricted services which Getflix supports. There are also a few ways to deal with geo-restrictions. One of them is Smart VPN – a solution that combines Smart DNS and VPN. VPN is a virtual tunnel which redirects all your Internet traffic to a server which is located in the destination country. Your connection is fully encrypted which means that your data is perfectly safe from any outside attempts to compromise it.

Smart VPN makes your IP appear as if coming from the country of the server where your connection was directed. By doing this, you are able to access Disney XD (as well as many other services geo-restricted to the US) from anywhere in the world. If we add the fact that both Smart DNS and Smart VPN solutions are available for multiple operating systems and devices, your freedom to browse the internet from any location with full connection security is at the reach of your hand and a few clicks of the mouse.
